In some cases, you may be eligible for a SHORT SALE. A Short Sale occurs when
the amount owed on the home exceeds the Fair Market Value. Under certain
circumstances, your Lender MAY agree to accept less for the property.
They will, however, require that you make a serious effort to sell the property
on the open market. Additionally, they will not tell you up-front what they will
accept and will only tell you once they have a valid Offer To Purchase that
meets their specific requirements.
